Digital Story Telling could be very informative for educational and learning perspectives.
Specially when a teacher needs to demonstrate the students about educational and historical
informative visits. Teacher can teach and guide his students about the modern tools to present the

According to me,it's good idea to share things with the students.
In pedagogical purpose, students would be encourged to use modern digital tools. For example, I have been teaching students of class BS(Hons)-Chemisty, I gave a scenario to design a blog on the name of their program name = "BS(Hons)-Chemistry" and couple of students made blogs to share all the class activities, problems, issues and ideas with other students and teachers. It was almost three years ago and I forgot the name of the blog. :)

My story idea is to share my travel experience from Stockholm-Helsinki through VikingLine Cruise.
Basic purpose was to give basic information for new commers and travel geekers before they plan a travel and it could be a good idea when they set out for journey.

Photoscape=to resize, sharpen, brighten, naming on the photos.
Windows Movie Maker=to put short clips,edited photos,delay timings,music pauses,display effects in the video.
MS Publisher=to make a 2-page pumflet/brochure for handy informative resource.

I used these tools because I am well aware with these tools and have been using for the last 3-4 years. Also these are easy and open source tools
